Here are the most frequently asked questions regarding the DJFL Tackle program registration process and equipment pickup:

1. If I miss the equipment pickup dates, I can just meet my coach over the summer and get my son's equipment from him?  No, there will only be three equipment pickups See Equipment Pickup page.  For all players that do not pick up equipment, you will be charged an additional $200 fee.
2. My son cannot make the equipment pickups, do I really need to bring him?  Yes, he or she needs to come. We cannot properly fit a player without him or her being there, and therefore, we will not hand out equipment to any parents without their son or daughter present.
3. I cannot make it to the doctor in time to fill out the DJFL Doctor Form, so can I just use one of the other physical forms in lieu of the DJFL Doctor Form?  No, DJFL will no longer accept doctor physical forms, school forms or camp forms. You must bring the DJFL official form signed AND stamped by the child's physician.
4. Can I use last year's DJFL Doctor's Form?  No.
5. I did not collect my equipment check back last year--can I just use that?  No, you must complete a new deposit check for $525 and post-date it 12/01.
6. I forgot to turn in my equipment, can my son just use that this season?  No, we must refit him properly.  Please bring the equipment back to the equipment pickup.
7. I cannot make the first pickup and my son will be away playing his travel lacrosse game on the second pickup date, won't DJFL have one more pickup in the summer like year's past?  No, given the size of the DJFL and the need to properly staff the equipment pickups, we will only hold two pickups this season.  This is the reason we have made both dates a weeknight pickup with an ample window of time.
8. I am planning to apply for a scholarship, so I am going to wait until August before I make a final decision--that won't affect me, will it?  Yes, it will:  all scholarship requests need to be made before June 10th in order to be considered.  In addition, if you do not pick up your equipment in June, you will be accessed the $200 special handling fee.
9. Can I bring all my sons at the same time?  Yes.
10. Can I register in person at Equipment Pickup?  No.
11. What is the refund policy for Tackle?  Tackle and Modified Travel Flag registration cancellations are subject to a $100 administrative fee and must be submitted via email to [email protected] before the start of preseason.   Once preseason starts, cancellations will not receive a refund.
