Registration
Registration for Fall 2024 is currently full. Please continue to register as waitlisted and if a spot becomes available you will be notified.

Teams will be formed based on the number of registrants, grade level (2-5), and coaching volunteers. Registration for new cheerleaders is on a first come first serve basis starting 4/29 at 10AM. Those waitlisted will be updated on status should we receive any cancellations.
Registration Fee: $325 per cheerleader ($260 for returning cheerleader - the cost will adjust during registration when you select "Returning")
Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee and must be submitted via email to

Refunds will be granted as follows:
Registration to August 4, 2024: 80% of registration fee
August 5 - September 8, 2024: 50% of registration fee
On or after September 9, 2024 (first game): No Refund
Schedule:
DJCL will practice once a week on Fridays and cheer at 1 home game per weekend either on Saturday or Sunday.
Practices: Fridays 5:00-6:30 DHS North Gym *Practice time and location subject to change
Games: Saturday or Sunday *Schedule is not released until early September. We have no control over the league schedule so please be patient and assured we will provide it as soon as possible.
All practices are mandatory for a successful season. Cheerleading is a team sport where athletes rely on one another to perform and learn new skills. The attendance policy and the consequences of missing multiple practices or games will be at the discretion of your coach and outlined in the team policies to be signed ahead of the season.

Registration Fee includes:
Uniform Rental for the season
Pom-Pom Rental for the season, blue and pink sets
Darien Jr. Cheerleading T-Shirt to be worn during practices
Cheer Socks
White Mock Turtleneck
Boy Shorts
Light gray leggings
Cheer fleece jacket
Hair Bows
New cheerleaders will receive the following items - returning cheerleaders should use the one already received:
Jacket
Cheer Bag
Additional items required, but not included in the Registration Fee:
Jacket if returning cheerleader needs new size or lost jacket - $65
Cheer sneakers, or other white sneakers (not Keds)
Forms to be submitted at Uniform Fitting (June - date and time TBD):
DJFL Medical Form & Doctor Certification (doctor signature and STAMP)
DJCL Team Policies and Social Media Release
$150 uniform deposit check payable to “DJCL” and post dated 12/1/2024
